Reception Admissions for September 2019

If your child was born between 1st of September 2014- 31st August 2015 and you are a Lambeth resident, you will need to apply for a Reception place online. All applications must be completed and sent by midnight on Tuesday 15th January 2019. After this date Lambeth officials will allocate a reception place based on our admissions criteria.

In the case that the school is oversubscribed, the school's admissions criteria will be applied.  To view our admissions policy, please CLICK HERE.

The school has been directed by the Schools’ Adjudicator to amend its admissions policy, following its ruling in September 2018.  Allocation of places to the Reception class in September 2019 the school will follow the same criteria as Lambeth community schools.  If the school is oversubscribed, then places will be allocated according to the following list of priority:

  1. Looked After Children
  2. Siblings
  3. Children with Exception Medical or Social Needs
  4. Children of Staff at the School
  5. Distance

The most significant change is that the school will no longer be able to prioritise admission to those children who have attended the school’s Nursery, above those applying on distance.

Any parent that would like to discuss this change is welcome to make an appointment via the school office to meet with a senior member of staff.

If as a result of this change you would like to amend your Common Application Form, you must raise this with your home borough’s School Admissions Team as a matter of urgency, as amendments may not be permissible after 11th February.

In-Year Admissions/Transfers

If you would like to apply for a place for Year 1 to Year 6 (or Reception if they are not starting in September) then you will need to complete an application form and return it to the school office.
