SUpport for London Fire Brigade Museum needed!

Lambeth Council is considering proposals for 8 Albert Embankment which includes a new permanent home for the London Fire Brigade museum. The museum will play an essential role in celebrating London’s rich history and will educate people of all ages about fire safety.

The museum forms part of U+I and the Fire Brigade’s wider proposals to transform 8 Albert Embankment, which will deliver a new modern fire station for Lambeth, as well as 417 homes – with a significant proportion of affordable housing – and work space to support over 1,500 jobs.

Your support is needed to make this happen. We would therefore encourage you to tell Lambeth Council what you think about the scheme by following the link to the Council’s website: www.planning.lambeth.gov.uk/online-applications and type in the reference numbers 19/01304/FUL or 19/01305/LB. You will then need to click on the ‘comments’ tab and fill in the relevant fields.
