 Dear Parents and Carers,

Thank you for your patience whilst we respond to the announcement made by the government on Monday regarding a staged return for pupils over the coming half term.

We are currently making plans to get pupils from specific year groups back into school from 1st June 2020. It is vitally important that we do this as safely as possible and ensure that any measures introduced are both manageable and sustainable. We are committed to ensuring that whatever steps are taken consider the safety of the whole school community.

I think we all appreciate that re-opening requires careful consideration, planning and consultation. We hope that we will all receive further guidance from the DfE and London Borough of Lambeth. We will let you know the arrangements for the return of specific year groups as soon as a safe and coherent strategy has been agreed.

Prior to the partial reintroduction of each year group back into school, we will be contacting you by phone and email to confirm which families would like to return their children to school and which intend to continue with home learning, which will continue to be provided online for all year groups. This will help us prepare the building, staff numbers and types of activities.

Please allow us to take the opportunity once again to thank you all for your on-going support and understanding during this unprecedented time. We will keep you updated with further arrangements as the details become available.

Yours sincerely,
